Psalm 1:3 (NIV)
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.

Throughout 2026, W2W will journey together through the theme Bloom Where You Are Planted, exploring how God grows us, strengthens us, and brings forth fruit in every season of life. We will look at identity, resilience, purpose, and the quiet but powerful work God does beneath the surface long before anything is visible.

“Lift Your Face to the Light”

From the Desk of Rev. Sharele Hatfield

May invites us to remember that Christ’s light is not distant, hazy or dim — it is present, solid, and strong. In John 8:12, Jesus declares, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” His light does more than illuminate our path; it warms the places that have become cold, awakens hope where there is discouragement, and redirects our gaze when life pulls our attention in a hundred different directions.

Like sunflowers, we are created to turn toward the Light. Not toward fear. Not toward
confusion. Not toward the concerns of yesterday. Christ’s light calls us to lift our faces, open our hearts, and follow Him with renewed focus. May is a month of spiritual reorientation — a time to turn again toward the One who guides, restores, and fills us with life.

Some areas of our lives feel bright and flourishing. Others feel dim or uncertain. Yet Christ meets us in every place. His light does not shame us; it shapes us. His light does not expose us to condemn; it exposes us to heal. May whispers to us: Turn toward Him. Let His light lead you.

May Focus Flower: Sunflower

The sunflower is known for its intentional turning — always seeking the sun, always following its direction. It stands tall not because it is strong on its own, but because it stays aligned with its source.

Sunflowers remind us:

  • Hope grows when we face the Light.
  • Direction comes when we follow the Light.
  • Strength rises when we stay rooted in the Light.

Just as sunflowers grow best in fields — not alone — we, too, thrive in community. Let the women of PPCC be your field: a place of encouragement, prayer, and spiritual focus.

John 8:12 reveals a Savior who does not leave us wandering. His light:

  • Guides us when the path feels unclear
  • Lifts us when discouragement weighs heavy
  • Refocuses us when distractions pull us away
  • Renews us when our spirit feels tired

Reflection Questions:

  • Where is Christ inviting me to turn my attention this month?
  • What areas of my life feel dim and need His light?

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, Light of the World, I lift my eyes toward You.
Shine hope into every discouraged place. Shine direction into every uncertain step.
Shine focus into every distracted corner of my heart.
Teach me to turn toward You like a sunflower turns toward the sun.
Let Your light guide me, renew me, and grow me into who You’ve called me to be.
Amen.

About Woman 2 Woman (W2W) Ministry
Ministry to Women

Purpose:

  • To teach each woman how to become a spiritually mature wife, mother, daughter and sister

Scripture focus:

  • 1 Timothy 2:9-10 (NIV)
    • 9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
  • 1 Timothy 3:11 (NIV)
    • 11 In the same way, the women[a] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

Who We are:

  • Woman 2 Woman Ministry is a joyful, loving fellowship of women who grow together in faith. We encourage one another toward spiritual maturity in every role God has given us. Anchored in Scripture’s call to godly character, kindness, and integrity, we cultivate a grace filled space where every woman is welcomed, supported, and invited to flourish in Christ
